Locals block road

BERHAMPUR: Local inhabitants blocked the Berhampur-Purushottampur road near the city All India Radio (AIR) station for a few hours on Friday morning. They were opposed to construction of a drain from AIR station premises. The inhabitants feared that this new drain would jeopardize the existing drainage system of the area. They lifted the road blockade with promises from municipal authorities.
