Lucknow: Six women of a family were arrested on Friday when they tried to immolate themselves in front of the Vidhan Bhawan here, police said. The women were demanding arrest of a contractor, who according to them had forced their relative to immolate himself last month. They told police that their relative Saleem, a petty vendor, immolated himself after being badly beaten by the contractor last month. All the six women were arrested by the cops as soon as they saw cans of Kerosene with them.
