Patna: Chief Opposition RJD and Congress members on Friday created an uproar in Bihar Legislative Council alleging that two small share-croppers had committed suicide here recently as they were driven by penury after the administration acquired the small pieces of lands they used for growing vegetables for livelihood recently. Though there was no official confirmation of the share-croppers taking their lives after the administration acquired the lands which they were using for livelihood, State Legislative Council Chairman Arun Kumar directed the state government to inform the house about it on March 31. Earlier, as the House sat for the day, RJD’s Mundrika Singh Yadav raised the issue of the two allegedly committing suicide at Digha recently and wanted to know the fate of the adjournment notice sent by him .- PTI
