Service Tax collection

PUDUCHERRY: All the nominated banks for the collection of Service Tax and Central Excise payments would remain open in the late hours on March 29 and March 31 to facilitate the tax payers, according to a release issued by the Central Excise Department here on Friday. Commissioner of Central Excise in Puducherry K. Sekar requested all the tax payers to pay the tax and Central Excise for this month on March 31 itself.
