Constable’s wife murdered

ARIYALUR: A 38-year-old woman was allegedly murdered by assailants at her residence here on Thursday.

Mythili (38), wife of head constable Paramasivam, attached to Keezha Pazhur station, was allegedly hit on the head with a deadly weapon and strangled with a mobile phone charger by the assailants, the police said.

The Ariyalur police have registered a case and are investigating.
