Tahsildar arrested

VISAKHAPATNAM: Anti-Corruption Bureau officials on Friday arrested Annapaneni Dharma Rao, Tahsildar of Parawada, who had allegedly amassed assets worth over Rs.1 crore.

According to ACB DSP B. Atchuta Rao, opening of a locker of the accused person in the Andhra Bank branch at Waltair on Friday revealed shares worth Rs.22,000 and Fixed Deposit receipts worth Rs.1.68 lakhs. Another locker of the accused person in a bank in Eluru is yet to be opened.
