Ashok Leyland raises $200 million

CHENNAI: Ashok Leyland has raised $200 million through an external commercial borrowing for meeting part of its expansion plans and overseas investments. The company is expanding the vehicle capacity to one lakh units from 84,000 units last year. The additional capacity will enable the company to enter into new markets. — Special Correspondent
