SANGAREDDY: Collector Piyush Kumar addressing the nodal officers here on Friday at the Zilla Parishad conference hall asked them to speed up the process of providing clear title to the beneficiaries under the Chief Minister and Prime Minister’s package for land distribution. In all 25,000 acres of land has been handed over to the beneficiaries on paper but the boundaries have to be fixed and the land must be handed over physically to the beneficiaries. The Collector told the officers that the aim of the land distribution programme would only be achieved after the beneficiary could enjoy the full benefit of the land provided. Private surveyorsThe Collector told the revenue officers to first fix boundaries to the 400 acres of land so far handed over to the beneficiaries. He told the revenue divisional officers to take the help of private surveyors who should work under the supervision of the government surveyors. Review progressThe RDOs were also directed to organise divisional-level meeting to review the progress. They must adopt two villages every month to clear all land related problems in those villages within that time frame. Those who fail to receive the cards from ration shops should inform the same to the concerned panchayats. The Joint collector Ramshankar Nayak was told to rectify snags in the communication systems for speedy exchange of information and direction among all officers.
