CIVIC apathy: Potholes are a common sight at Mahendra Hills. Playground / Park at Teachers Colony in East Marredpally have become a garbage dump yard and public toilet, causing inconvenience to residents. Repeated complaints to GHMC elicited no response. D.H. Khushlani East Marredpally. CDS quagmireIt is unfair on the part of GHMC to serve CDS notices on flat owners demanding penalties for violations done by builders. Most of us are unaware of such violations and the notices issued by GHMC do not state the details either. Sridevi. S CDS: double jeopardyThe GHMC should extend the last date for submission of CDS application till a final verdict is given by High Court and it should not issue notices to flat owners either, until the verdict is declared. Authorities should ignore ten per cent of deviation in structures as it is needed to meet the requirements of Vaasthu. The scheme should be framed in such a way so that it benefits both the clients and GHMC as well. Gopal Krishnan Secunderabad.
