Man ‘kills’ wife

A rickshaw-puller, Arjun Goud, allegedly murdered his wife Lakshamma (25) suspecting her fidelity at Old Alwal on Thursday, the police said. They were native of Mahabunagar district and had come to Hyderabad in search of livelihood.

Held for circulating fake currency

Two persons were arrested on Friday on the charge of circulating fake currency notes.

The police said a suitcase containing eight bundles of fake currency notes were recovered from the possession of Syed Ghouse (48), a native of Nizamabad district, and Mekala Shekar (33), a resident of Adilabad district.
