Appropriation Bills adopted

CHENNAI: The Assembly adopted, by a voice vote, two Appropriation Bills, one for meeting the supplementary grants for financial year 2007-2008 and another for the grants made in advance for a part of financial year 2008-2009.

The House will take up social welfare and nutritious meal programme, originally slated for May 5, on April 21. The subjects of industries and information technology will come up on May 5.
