Alleged suicide

NEW DELHI: A 22-year-old student of chartered accountancy allegedly committed suicide in her house at Adarsh Nagar here on Thursday night. The police found a suicide note in her room on Friday.

According to the police, the tragic incident came to light around 10 a.m. on Friday when Jyoti’s relatives entered her room and found her hanging from the ceiling.

Enquiries by the police revealed that Jyotiwas a student of chartered accountancy and preparing for its Part II examinations. In her suicide note she purportedly said she was taking the extreme step as she was fed up with studies.
