High-mast lights to be installed

Bangalore: The BBMP will install high-mast lights, 2,046 bright lights of international standard on the 33 km stretch of road leading to the Bangalore international airport at Devanahalli, at a cost of Rs. 8 crore. It will also take extensive tree planting and greening of the median, and 800 trees will be planted along Bellary Road after widening work is completed.

The BBMP will also introduce mechanised street sweeping to keep the road up to international airport clean.
