Two girls killed in fire

Lucknow: Two girls were killed and two other members of their family received serious burns when their house at New bazar locality caught fire here on Friday night, the police said on Saturday.

The deceased, aged six and four years, were asleep when an earthen lamp fell on their bed resulting in the fire, the police said.

The injured, including a one-year-old boy, were admitted to hospital where their condition was stated to be serious, police added.
