Protest against evangelical activity

CHITTOOR: Activists of the BJP, RSS and VHP led by district leaders Santha Reddy and Gutha Narayana Swamy Naidu staged a dharna and rasta roko at Agaram near Kanipakam, Irala Mandal on Chittoor-Irala Road here on Saturday demanding the police to arrest the father who allegedly conducted evangelical activities at the Hindu temple Kanipakam.

Speaking on the occasion Santha Reddy said that evangelical activities at Hindu Temples have been increasing demanded the Government to take action to prevent such incidents. She also urged the government to lift cases booked against 44 workers at different places in the district.
