NEW DELHI:
RAINFALL: Rain/snow has occurred at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Weather was mainly dry in the region.
TEMPERATURE: MAXIMUM: The Maximum temperatures changed little. They were appreciably above normal in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand and above normal in the rest of the region. The highest maximum temperature in the region was 40.2°C recorded at Barber (Rajasthan).
MINIMUM: The minimum temperatures changed little. They were appreciably above normal in Haryana, east Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest minimum temperature in the plains was 13.8°C recorded at Sarsawa (Uttar Pradesh).
FORECAST VALID UNTIL THE MORNING OF 31st MARCH 2008: Rain/ snow is likely in at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttarakhand. Isolated dust Dust storm/ thunderstorm is likely in the rest of the region. After 24 hours weather will be mainly dry over the region.
FORECAST FOR DELHI AND NEIGHBOURHOOD VALID UNTIL THE MORNING OF 31st MARCH 2008: Mainly clear sky. The maximum and minimum temperatures will be around 36°C and 20°C respectively.
