Two Keralites killed in accident

Dubai: Seven persons, including two Indians, were killed and 33 injured when a bus collided with a fuel tanker at Jalajil, about 130 km from Riyadh, on Thursday. The accident occurred on the Riyadh-Qassim Highway.

Indian Ambassador to Bahrain Balakrishna Shetty told PTI on the phone on Saturday that the two were from Kerala and efforts were being made to bring their bodies to Riyadh. Mr. Shetty said Hanif Sharifuddin and K.T.P. Favaz, both from Kerala, were working in Bahrain. — PTI
