Houses gutted

SRINAGAR: A house in the city, being used by the troops of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) was partially gutted in a fire accident but no loss of life was reported, a police spokesman said today.

Stating short circuit to be the cause behind the fire which partially gutted the house last night the spokesman said no one was reported injured in the accident.

The house is currently occupied by troops of 172 battalion of CRPF on rent. In another similar incident, house of one Nooruddin Koli of Anantnag district was completely gutted in a fire. - PTI
