Jotun to strengthen presence in State

KOCHI: Jotun Group has announced the setting up of 20 exclusive paint showrooms called Jotun Multicolour outlets, to cater to the growing demand in Kerala. Lopesh Dalal, marketing manager, said that Kerala is a key market for Jotun. The company has retail outlets in Kochi, Palakkad, Kottayam, Thrissur, Tirur, Kannur, Kozhikkode and Thiruvananthapuram.

KOCHI: TVS Motor Company launched a new motorcycle, Flame, having a 125 cc four-stroke engine. It is powered by CCVTi (Controlled Combustion Variable Timing Intelligent) Technology that employs three valve dual induction system. Launching the vehicle, R.Chandramouli, senior vice-president, said the three-valve CCVTi engine delivers high power and enhanced mileage. The bike employs green technology that conforms to emission norms of the future (BS-III norms applicable in 2010). A LCD digital console that displays a fitness check indicator, low fuel warning and ‘intelligent mileage indicator’ are among the other features of the vehicle. — Staff Reporter

KOCHI: Vimal, the flagship textile brand of Reliance Industries Limited, opened its first exclusive retail store at MG Road in Kochi. Similar outlets will be opened at 24 locations in the country this year, according to Srinivasan Padmanabhan, Chief Operating Officer, Textile Business. He said the redesigned An international retail design expert was involved in the redesign.
