The body of a 25-year-old Rooparani was found hanging under suspicious circumstances at her house at Air-India Colony in Bowenpally on Friday, even as her relatives cried foul over the incident alleging that her husband Sharma killed her when she failed to bring additional dowry. Police, however, said the post-mortem report could unravel the mystery behind the case. Rooparani married Sharma in August 2005 against the wishes of her parents.

The Cyberabad police on Saturday retrieved the body of a youngster from Gandipet Lake. The deceased has been identified as A. Aravind, 19, a resident of Goshamahal.

A 35-days-old baby boy, who suffered serious head injury after it slipped from the hands of a minor girl at Shastripuram in Trimulgherry on Sunday last, died while undergoing treatment at a private hospital on Saturday.

A toddler succumbed to serious burns at the Gandhi Hospital on Saturday. Three-year-old Laxmi was playing when a steel utensil containing hot water fell on the child at her residence at old Bowenpally on Thursday resulting in serious burns. She died while undergoing treatment.
