The results (play-off): Chennai 54 (Murugavel 20, Dhanasekaran 10) bt Visakhapatnam 53 (Dora Babu 14, Ramesh 11). Semifinals: Tuticorin 61 (Rathnaraj 16, Selva Kumar 14) bt Visakapatnam 47 (Abdul Jaffar 10). Kolkata 59 (Mondal 19, Chandhry 19) bt Chennai 52 (Murugavel 12, Arumugam 10).
