One held under Goondas Act

VILLUPURAM: R.Panneerselvam (26) of Karumandurai was detained under the Goondas Act and kept in the Cuddalore Central Prison on Saturday. He was named in a robbery case in which a gang waylaid a jewellery merchant and took away the valuables at Gariyalur on the Kalvarayan Hills.The Villupuram police also detained S.Ganesan (30) of Avalurpettai Colony under the Bootleggers Act. He too was taken to the Cuddalore Central Prison.
