Foundations for laity training centre laid

KOCHI: Archbishop Daniel Acharuparampil, President of Kerala Catholic Bishops’ Council laid the foundations for a laity training centre on the Kaloor-Karanakodam Link Road on Sunday. The new facility will be ready in one year. It is estimated to cost about Rs.20 crore and will serve to train the laity for social and cultural leadership, said a release here. — Staff Reporter
