Call to ensure quality in society

NEW DELHI: Calling for a sustained effort by policy makers to ensure equality in society, noted journalist B.G. Verghese said India must shine for all.

Delivering the keynote address at a colloquium on “Communication for Social Change” here this past week, Mr. Verghese said: “The main objective of Mahatma Gandhi’s crusade was to wipe tears from every eye.”

The colloquium was organised jointly by Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti and Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies.
