Text books for the poor

NEW DELHI: Text books will be distributed among needy students of various schools of Delhi by Tarun Mitra Parishad on April 13. The Parishad general secretary Ashok Jain said 600 needy students from Class VI to XII would be given text books and stationery. Besides, about 150 meritorious students would be awarded scholarships of Rs.1,200 or 1,500 each. Application forms can be obtained from the Parishad’s office in Laxmi Nagar.
