BANGALORE: Scientists and staff belonging to the Bangalore region of the Defence Research and Development Organisation have been awarded many annual national awards given for performance in 2007. While scientists Mohit Kumar, B.N. Lokesha and Om Prakash Chauhan have bagged Young Scientist awards, technician Abdul Wajid, technical officer S. Nirmala, regional PRO K. Jayaprakash Rao and personal assistant V. Gayathri have bagged the Best Performance Awards. — Staff Reporter
