Bhattal advises Amarinder to work for Congress

PATIALA: After absolving in graft case Punjab Congress Chief and Congress Legislative Party (CLP) leader Rajinder Kaur Bhattal on Sunday visited the city, the home town of former Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh with much fanfare.

Many Congress workers have gathered in Sewa Singh Thikriwala Chowk to congratulate her.

Talking to media persons here, on her way to Mansa, she advised former Chief Minster Capt. Amarinder Singh to work for the Congress and its president Sonia Gandhi.

“Working for himself”

She said that Amarinder Singh is working for him only and against the party, he should come and work for the party. Bhattal said that Amarinder Singh should understand one thing that Congress president Sonia Gandhi has appointed her as the State party president and Amarinder Singh should cooperate with her.

In an upbeat mood, Bhattal who have recently met Congress president Sonia Gandhi, said that the party was supreme and no person was bigger than party and Amarinder Singh should understand it. - PTI
