Lack of amenities: Evaluation in progress in Nayabazar school at Khammam.
KHAMMAM: Government Junior Colleges Lecturers’ Association Khammam district president K.S. Rama Rao said here on Sunday that lecturers were being put to tremendous pressure at the Intermediate spot valuation centre. He said around 200 Government lecturers were on spot valuation duty.
They were often being forced to continue valuation work till 9 p.m. despite the fact that the centre has no proper lighting facilities and amenities. He said nearly 700 private college lecturers were also engaged in spot valuation.Another 300 senior lecturers were yet to be involved in the process.
He wanted the authorities to take steps for providing proper amenities at the centre so that junior lecturers would be able to ensure effective correction of the papers.
