Letters to the Editor
A.R. Venkatachalapathy’s effort of bringing to light letters and articles written by Subramania Bharati, published in The Hindu between 1904 and 1916, and compiling his works in a book (March 30) is commendable. It is indeed a matter of pride for The Hindu that it provided a forum to such a glorious nationalist and great poet to express his views when he was being hounded by the colonial police.
C.A.C. Murugappan,
I have a humble suggestion. Please publish Bharati’s letters for the present generation to learn more about history.
S. Chidambaresa Iyer,
