Royal, Friends post wins

VIJAYAWADA: Royal Cricket Club defeated Gudivada’s Shining Stars by nine wickets, while Friends Cricket Club scored a 29-run victory over Kondapalli Cricket Association in the Krishna District Cricket Association’s Power League for Katragadda Madhusudhana Rao Memorial Trophy here on Sunday.

The scores: Shining Star 40 in 13.4 overs (Vineeth Singh five for 11) lost to Royal CC 43 for one in 3.5 overs.

Friends CC 130 in 33 overs (Nageswara Rao four for 35, Mohan three for 32) bt KCA 101 in 25.1 overs (Vinod 41, Kamal three for 10). — Sports Reporter
