Six persons injured in group clash
Staff Reporter
HYDERABAD: A clash between two groups triggered tension at Shiv Bagh under the Tappachabutra police station limits on Sunday. At least six persons were injured in the incident.
Trouble began when Ashok Kumar Yadav and Govind were trying to sort out a dispute during a meeting held in the presence of local leaders. Workers dug-up the open plot of Govind for laying a sewerage ine to Yadav’s house.
Govind objected to it but Yadav refused to shift the sewerage line. On Sunday, they met for negotiations. A heated argument ensued following which Govind attacked Yadav with a sword. In retaliation, Yadav’s friends also attacked Govind and his associates resulting in injuries to six persons.
