Tuticorin: Host Tuticorin retained the all-India major ports basketball tournament, defeating Kolkata 65-54 in the final at Tharuvai Stadium here on Saturday.

The results: Tuticorin 65 (Rathnaraj 10, Murugaraj 15) bt Kolkata 54 (Dass 17, R. Mondal 10).
