Over 600 take part in ‘mega job mela’

MAHABUBNAGAR: Over 600 unemployed graduates along with those who are going to pass out in this academic year participated in the ‘mega job mela’ organised at Jayaprakash Narayan College of Engineering here on Sunday.
Genius India Job Fair, an organisation from Hyderabad having 33 clientele companies, conducted the job mela. It was open for all degrees-holders in IT and non-IT disciplines. K. S. Ravi Kumar, chairman of JPNCE, said the selection process would be in four stages which includes written test, telephonic and HR rounds to be conducted by GI Job Fair. Candidates selected during the first three rounds would be called for the HR round. Candidates would be interviewed in the final round by the prospective employers. Dr. Subash Kulkarni, Principal, JPNCE, said that there was good response to in which 604 candidates from six districts -- Kurnool, Warangal, R.R., Nalgonda, Hyderabad and Mahabubnagar appeared for the written test.
