Patna: A man arrested on the charge of theft tried to immolate himself in the Government Railway Police (GRP) lock-up at the Rajendra Nagar railway terminal here on Monday. GRP deputy superintendent of police Satya Narayan said that Munna Dubey, a resident of Mehandia in Arwal district, attempted self-immolation in the toilet of the lock-up around 4 am. Dubey struck himself alight with a match, but soon the police personnel doused the fire. He was admitted to Patna Medical College Hospital, he said.
