GMRIT students bag gold

VISAKHAPATNAM: Students of GMR Institute of Technology, Rajam, in Srikakulam district, have bagged gold medals for the third time for securing the first rank at the state-level among all JNTU-affiliated Engineering colleges.

N. Sriharsha (Chemical Engineering) and Goel Deepika Agarwal (Civil Engineering), who have passed out of GMRIT, will receive the gold medals from the JNTU Vice-Chancellor at the 24th Convocation of JNTU to be held on April 2.

Mr. Sriharsha is presently pursuing his M. Tech at IIT Bombay and Ms. Deepika Agarwal is working with GMR Group, Bangalore, as a management trainee.College Principal K. Venkata Rao, Vice Principal CLVRSV Prasad and CAO of GMRVF L.M. Laxman Murthy congratulated the students on their achievement.
