New exam invigilation system

Staff Correspondent

DAVANGERE: From this year onwards, invigilators for the SSLC examinations will be teachers of subjects other than the one for which the examination is being held. The move comes in the wake of complaints that some teachers were guiding students in the examination hall. For instance, history or crafts teachers will invigilate the mathematics examination. This system is being implemented all over the State from this year, according to an official of the SSLC Board. The official said steps were being taken to eliminate examination malpractices.
