Decennial celebrations of engineering college conclude

On a job hunt: Students of Sri Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology and Science submitting application forms for a job mela at Chowderpally near Mahabubnagar.
MAHABUBNAGAR: The six-month-long decennial celebrations of Sri Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology and Science, Chowderpally, near here, concluded recently on a grand note.
Minister R. Chenga Reddy, who was the chief guest of the finale, addressing the gathering said that the Government is giving more importance to technical education. Minister for Rural Development G. Chinna Reddy urged the students to work hard with a competitive spirit to achieve their goals in life. B. Ramulu, president of management committee of the college, secretary Srinivas Reddy and correspondent P. Sreenivas Rao gave a detailed report on the college activities and future plans. On the occasion, the college management honoured toppers of various branches with gold medals.
