Two sentenced to life imprisonment

PUDUCHERRY: A local court on Monday sentenced two persons to life imprisonment in a murder case. Principal District and Sessions Judge of Pondicherry D. Krishnaraja found Murugan and Kannan of Ariankuppam guilty of murdering Tamizh alias Tamizhvanan of the same village on August 3, 2003.

The judge also imposed a fine of Rs.500 on them or another six months of imprisonment if they failed to pay it. — Staff Reporter
