NCP plea on ration

Thiruvananthapuram: Nationalist Congress Party State president K. Muraleedharan has urged the Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar to ensure that the State was allocated ration rice in adequate quantities. In a fax message to the Union Minister, Mr. Muraleedharan pointed out that the recent Central decision to cut the State’s ration quota, at a time when it was reeling under unseasonal rains, would only create more problems.
