The Othakadai to Kottampatti stretch of Madurai-Tiruchi highway has become unworthy for vehicular traffic owing to four-laning works and pot holes, leading to traffic jams as well. The National Highways Authorities of India (NHAI) has taken little care to set right the poor road condition. Consequently passengers face mental agony since they could not reach their destinations in time. The NHAI authorities should expedite the work. Malligai Mannan, Madurai Pat for SBIThe ‘token system’ introduced by the State Bank of India, Main Branch, Madurai, for remittance and withdrawals is a good step for quick and efficient service to customers. Earlier, the customers had to stand in queue before the counters with tension. Now there is no tension, complaint and crowd. Rajendran, Madurai Disorder near GRHIt is highly deplorable that there is uncontrollable traffic congestion in front of Government Rajaji Hospital throughout the day causing accidents. Inpatients, outpatients, visitors and doctors visit the hospital in large numbers. The barricades placed in the middle of the road should be immediately removed since making U-turn has become impossible. At the same time, police personnel should be posted there throughout the day to regulate the traffic. S. Kanagavel Manoharan, Madurai
