Goldsmith commits suicide
A goldsmith committed suicide by consuming poison at his house at Vinayak Nagar in Neredmet on Monday. D. Venkatesh, 23, killed himself following financial problems.
Man dies in accident
A 35-year-old man who suffered severe injuries after the motorcycle he was riding was hit by an autorickshaw at Mirjalguda on Sunday, died while undergoing treatment at the Gandhi hospital on Monday. The deceased has been identified as Samuel, a private electrician.
Gold chain stolen
Two motorcycle-borne miscreants snatched a gold chain from a woman at Mahboob Mansion in Afzalgunj on Monday. Usha Jain, 45, a resident of Ashok Bazaar, was on the way to a temple when miscreants came from behind and made away with the gold chain weighing two tolas, according to police.
