Special Correspondent

Bangalore: The Karnataka State Savita Samaja, representing people who belong to the Other Backward Castes on Monday demanded all political parties field at least four leaders from the community in the Assembly elections to work for their uplift and welfare.

Speaking to presspersons here, N.V. Narasimhaiah, former member, Karnataka Backward Classes Commission, said there were 20 lakh people belonging to the caste in the State, but they had no representation either in the Lok Sabha or Legislative Assembly, or the Council.
