Extension sought

NEW DELHI: The MCD Standing Committee Chairman Vijender Gupta has written to Union Urban Development Minister Jaipal Reddy urging him to extend the last day for depositing conversion and parking charges to June 30.

Mr. Gupta said he had also sought clarification of certain provisions in the Master Plan for Delhi-2021. “Since the DDA is yet to frame a policy regarding the raised issues, there is a lot of confusion regarding special area zones and other areas. Thus, it is in the best interests of the public that the last date be extended,” he added.
