MADURAI: A few members of Madurai Bar Association staged a demonstration on Mattuthavani integrated bus stand premises here on Tuesday condemning the resistance offered by some groups in Karnataka to the Hogenakkal water scheme. According to police sources, the agitators climbed a parked Bangalore-Madurai bus of Karnataka State Transport Corporation and raised slogans. They painted the number plate black and locked up the office of KSRTC agent as a mark of their protest. Police pacified the advocates.
