Vignan students excel

Twelve students from the Department of Electrical and Electronics, Vignan Institute of Information and Technology (VIIT) won two first prizes and one second prize at the recently held national level technical symposium- Electrica-2k8 in GITAM University. P. Uday Krishna, Sandeep Sasidharan and D. Tarakeswara Rao won the first prize. The other first prize was won by the team comprising V. Hanish, A. Avinash and Joshua Arumbakar. In another event held by Avanthi Institute of Engineering and Technology, B.S.N.K. Chaitanya, J.G.S. Sasidhar and M.S. Chandra Sekhar of VIIT secured the second position in the quiz programme, Q-Time @2k8.
