Staff Reporter

BANGALORE: A BMTC bus ran over a woman at Rajajinagar 1st stage bus stop on Tuesday evening, killing her on the spot, while two others were left injured. The accident occurred at 4.30 p.m. when BMTC bus number 401 K ran over Arundhati (42), wife of Colonel Umesh Chandra, who was a teacher in Kendriya Vidyalaya in Yelahanka, immediately after she had alighted from another BMTC bus at the Rajajinagar 1st Stage bus stop. Two other commuters, Ramesh and Muralidhara, who had got down after Arundhati, sustained injuries.
