ACB alleges misuse of funds

HYDERBAD: A surprise check by the ACB officials at BC Welfare Hostel for Girls, Penugonda (West Godavari district), on Monday revealed several irregularities committed by hostel welfare officer M.S. Glory Bai.

The irregularities included misappropriation of Rs.2 lakh. Bai was not residing at headquarters, keeping official records at her residence and manipulating the strength of boarders, the ACB said.
