Next season of ‘Star Singer’

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Entries have been invited for the Asianet Idea Star Singer 2008 contest being organised by Asianet and Idea mobile.

Those between the ages of 16 and 30 can participate in the contest.

The final 45 contestants of the 2007 contest are not eligible to apply for the contest.

Aspirants have to dial 554565546 from an Idea mobile and record their song.

They also have to send their photograph and bio-data to the address ‘Idea Star Singer – 2008, Asianet Studio Complex, Puliyarakkonam, Thiruvananthapuram – 695573’ or by e-mail to ‘ iss08@asianetworld.tv’ before April 10, 2008.

Winners (male and female) of the 2008 contest will get villas at Thiruvananthapuram worth Rs.2 crore each or flats in Dubai, according to a press release issued here on Wednesday.
