Girl commits suicide in Lucknow

Lucknow: Upset over her poor performance in the examinations, a 14-year-old girl allegedly committed suicide here, police have said.

Priya Bose was studying in eighth class and hanged herself from the ceiling of her room in Aashiya locality here on Tuesday, they said.

In another incident, one Mithilesh Kumari (25) set herself ablaze in Krishnanagar locality here.

She was rushed to hospital, where she succumbed to injuries, they said.
