KOZHIKODE: Vadakara Krishnadas of Kozhikode, H.Ramla Beegam of Alappuzha, M.S.Abdurahiman of Kannur, K.Moidu Vanimel and V.P.Gangadharan of Thrissur were selected for the various awards instituted by the Kerala Mappila Kala Academy for the year 2008. This was announced by P.H.Abdulla, president, Academy and Chalodan Rajeevan, chairman, organising committee of award meet at a press conference here on Wednesday. The award would be given away at an award meet in the city in the last week of May, they said.
